HOW DO YOU LIKE YOURS?

One a penny, two a penny...these were four for 50p, a bargain if slightly on the stale side.  I had two this afternoon and the Prof had one.  He's out at his choir practice and I have plans for the last bun.  Usually, I like mine spread with butter and filled with a great slab of mature cheddar.  In the absence of butter and to counter the staleness, tonight I plan to have them slathered with butter, cinnamon and sugar, then toasted.

A wee trip to the hospital this afternoon for a Doppler carotid scan (this time last week I didn't even know what that was) and a CT scan. Our local hospital has been unjustly slated lately in the press.  The facility is excellent, the service efficient and professional, the staff caring and compassionate. The rest is just politics.
