Here and gone

Went out for a walk about 10:30am to see the snow in all it's shiny, white glory. By the time we got home an hour later it had just about vanished everywhere except in deep shade. BTW, Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat are visible in the distance. Met a German lady looking for footpaths that were not too muddy.

The feline got a pressie (a scratching board thingie) to stop him destroying our new wicker laundry basket, but H adopted it as a handy step/bench. H got a pressie too. Don't worry about us spoiling her though as it's a mirror to allow us to see each other in the car. Tried it out and she laughed, so fingers crossed it really will reduce the grumbling.
