Random Memory #4 .......

 .......... me at RAF Bruggen, Germany in June 1989 - 26 years ago - yikes!!.

We were living in Nienburg at the time and I won a phone-in competition on Forces Radio and the prize was a day at RAF Bruggen and a session in a simulator ...... it was a great day and we were treated royally.

I'm having a bit of a "dig out" in my office and came across some old photos ..... (and a LOT of other stuff) ......

Smile of the Day

On an American Airlines flight into Amarillo, Texas, on a particularly windy and bumpy day: 
During the final approach, the Captain was really having to fight it. 
After an extremely hard landing, the Flight Attendant announced, "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Amarillo. Please remain in your seats with your seat belts fastened while the Captain taxis what's left of our airplane to the gate".
