Ivy . . . .

This old house is covered in ivy, even on the inside, as you can see from the blip I took a couple of weeks ago!  It is in a very sad state and is being left to fall down, but it obviously used to be an important house, one of the biggest in the village.  

It's been in a poor way for a long time, it was pretty grim even in the 1980s when it was a back packers' hostel. The door was always open and no money changed hands, folk came and went and sometimes stayed and did odd jobs on the owner's farm.  

It's an interesting place and it will provide lots more blip opportunities as it crumbles. . . .
