This frog is in one of our ponds. We have two a wildlife pond (we leave it alone) and this one with a few fish in it. We had quite a few fish originally but the last couple of winters have taken there toll and we have half a dozen now. He (or she) is in some grass in a pot.
The question is what is the difference between frogs and toads? The problem with this question is that there isn't an easy answer because toads are frogs, or at least they are in the frog family. Frogs have smooth, wet skin that looks slimy. Toads have drier, rough skin that looks really bumpy.
What a lovely sunny day, let's hope it lasts through the weekend.
