Tiffany

This is Tiffany, my neighbours dog. She is part husky and not sure what else, she has the most piercing blue eyes and licks you to death. Tiff and Tina and Mitchell are moving back to the UK for financial reasons and I will miss them all, especially Tiff as we sometimes go for long walks and I talk to her and tell her my problems. Even though she can't answer me I feel better for unloading my problems onto her.

I'm slowly winning the war with the Germans on my community. I had an estimate for some work to be done 540euros of which 180euros was the cost of the labour. The Germans wanted to do the work themselves to save money, but when they realised that non of the English would help and the only Germans willing to do the work were the three old crocks, they decided against it. I am now employing the gardners to do the job properly.

Shingles is getting better, spots have almost gone, still got some residual pain in the nerve endings. We have a wonderful system out here where you can claim the money back for any prescriptions from a private clinic. When I was first diagnosed I went to my local private clinic and had to pay for the tablets 116euros for 7 tablets. Yesterday I went to our local medical centre with my health card, spoke to the Dr and he rewrote a National Health prescription out for me. I took this to the chemist along with the empty tablet box and got my money back, good result.
