Still standing!

A busy day and very satisfying, as I got lots done.  Gardening in the morning, more weeding and tidying up generally and then, when the rain started, I retreated to the kitchen and made a carrot cake.

The recipe calls for an orange, but I didn't have one so substituted a lemon instead and sandwiched it together with a mixture of cream cheese and lemon curd!  To be recommended! 

I wanted to blip a pair of Slavonian grebes in the bay doing a bit of courting but they were too far away and out of focus.  Hopefully they will hang about and come closer in sometime!
