Male Wood Duck

Seen at Scudder pond in Bellingham.  I was visiting my friend Peg and helping her to do some furniture shopping for her next move.  She got the keys turned over to her today for the condo rental she will now be moving into....overlooking Bellingham Bay and Boulevard Park in Fairhaven!  A great location to walk from so many places now.  The car will get a lot less use and her views from her deck are superb!   I was chuffed to see this male wood duck earlier in the morning!
