Long story .....

Back in November I noticed a Gr**pon for a mother & daughter hair and make-up session at a VERY discounted price - thought it would be lovely for me to do with daughter.  Purchased and when I went to book they did not have any availability for hair & make-up session until March 2015.  Decided that with daughter and son-in-law moving away, would be nice to have a family photo.  This had to be arranged with future son-in-law being in the country - only available time, just after New Year.

Booked the session with a two week appointment following this to choose our photograph - the original deal was for ONE A4 photo.  Had to pay a £25 refundable deposit.   

Photo session took place, LOTS of photographs taken in different poses and variables.  My and him indoors visited the following fortnight, as arranged, and then the hard sale started.  We viewed ALL the photographs saying "no" to those we didn't want (lots of no's) before it was whittled down to one.  We had to be very strong as there were loads that we would have loved, but at £50+ each photo was not an option.  Order placed for ONE photo and informed this would be ready in 4 weeks time, but we would have to collect again.  This was on 11 January!

I telephoned this week to follow up as we had not heard, and informed that the photo was ready and picked it up today - here is the chosen shot.  Still waiting for our deposit to be refunded...........  If you are ever tempted with any of these offers, you have to be VERY strong!

The original is in colour, and this is a  photo of a photo that I have made mono - lovely shot of us all, makes me happy.

Birthday boy (son) having a good day - trip into London, visited the Shard and a meal in Benihana in Piccadilly.  Back to mum and dad for cake and pressies.
