David's day

Slow start to the morning - seems to be becoming a habit. Long walk with dog and a light breakfast.

Son and girlfriend stayed over last night, he had thoroughly enjoyed his birthday trip in London, a little disappointed on the views from the top of the Shard (weather overcast) but had a lovely meal at Behinas. For lunchtime today we went out to a local restaurant, sun was shining and log fire burning, lovely time.

Consequently, with a full tummy I then came home and feel asleep! Now rested, it is chucking it down with rain and I'm nice a snug indoors.

To mark St David's day, took a shot of the daffodils pa-in-law gave me yesterday - he gave them to me as buds, but they are in full bloom now.
