Blustery Day

This is the gorgeous view that accompanies working from home - hard to believe it was the coldest (feeling) day of the year.

According to BOM, as we set off for the Family Day Picnic at the school, the apparent temperature was -2.5 (although the real temperature was above zero).

Irkutsk said he would be turning straight back if the picnic was held outside, but fortunately it took place in the children's overheated classrooms. We each had fun in our respective classrooms, me & Im chattering with friends, Irk & L providing a chess exhibition.

Soccer training cancelled (thankfully), although the hardcore amongst us (L) did make it to the evening soccer academy session.

Some of us are hoping that if it keeps up like this, there will be enough rain to justify a cancellation tomorrow....
