Stalking

Still not feeling 100% so I went stalking in the fields today with Little Dog.  

I spotted some redwings but I reckon they’ll be gone before I manage to get a decent shot of them.  Sitting in the shadows of a tree worked for a buzzard (my shots of him are improving). Hiding behind a tree works for a kestrel (I watched this one for ages) but 50 redwings with 100 eyes is a very different story!  Fun trying though.

It’s lovely hearing the calls of the curlews again which seem to be wandering back inland.
