Skittles look a lot less happy without orange ones

Skittles look a lot less happy when you take the orange ones out. They’re even drabber when you take the green ones out. Now we didn’t test this, but I have a feeling that if you were to take any of the colors away they would take some of the festive mood associated with this little candy with them.  But while the orange ones are a fun, bright color, they aren’t as festive when out by themselves. Why? Why are these color combinations able to change the whole mood and tone of the object that they possess? I personally think that the power color has over our feelings and attitude is absolutely amazing. I mean think about it, you are able to connect two completely unrelated things and make them correlate inside of your mind. Isn’t that weird? I actually associate colors with numbers, and my numbers even have personalities, which I thought was normal up until a little while ago, when I was wondering what colors my sister’s numbers were, if they were the same for everyone.  Spoiler: she doesn’t have any and apparently that’s not something that everyone does. But it’s not like I just made it up, I couldn’t switch the colors or add new ones, they’ve just always been this way. Maxine just told me that it’s not normal as well, so I guess my sister was right.
