Hat Rack

The memory care unit at the assisted living facility where my wife's mom is a resident is decorated with items the residents might remember.  I liked this colorful hat rack with several hats, a parasol, and beads on the nearby dresser with a mirror.  I believe the residents are allowed to wear these items when they wish.  I was there today because we had to switch her bed and that really confused her.  An agency picked up a low hospital type bed at my wife's request, and we took a bed she used earlier to her.  Of course, she remembered none of it, and took our bringing a bed to mean she will stay there rather than going back to West Virginia which can't happen.  It is sad.
