Salthouse

A great day at work today. We delivered our demo to the customer with ten minutes to spare. There's nothing quite like about of timetable stress to get the juices flowing.

I met Stewart in the Briarbank Brewery later for a pint and then went to dinner with a bunch of academics from Arras at the Salthouse. Pidgin French meet pidgin English, with a dash of Spanish, in a whisky-shrouded, cultural mingling. Strange how the wives gravitated towards Le President ;)

A taxi got Stewart and I to the station early enough to get across the road for a quick half-and-half. Then to Colchester for him and Norwich for me.

A great night. I wish we could do it more often.
