Prescot

So here we are in Prescot, Merseyside. A short train ride south and Sarah and I are in a land where we can shed a layer of clothing and the daffodils are in flower.
Spent the afternoon with brother-in-law Pete, visiting the Museum and charity shops. Prescot was famous for watchmaking and it had an Elizabethan Playhouse, built in 1593 and long gone. There are plans to raise money to rebuild it, and the wall behind Sarah has a huge Playhouse mural on it.
Sarah bought a lovely Chinese suit and a dressing gown in Oxfam and is pleased as punch.
