Noticed this man nearby as I was talking with a friend. How often does one see a person writing in a proper notebook with a proper writing implement these days? 

Apart from that, a lovely chat with Ronan, out third get-together at this venue, the Mezzanine in Bewley's where, prior to our first meeting here a few months ago, I hadn't set foot for many years.
