Heavenly Blue
Drizzly, mizzly morning and I settled down to do some dressmaking. CH was putting in glass and window frames to complete my greenhouse which he built for me about 2 years ago. Late morning he asked if I could help by supporting the frame while he screwed in the hinges. After about an hour up the ladder, down the ladder, in and out if the greenhouse, he dispensed with my services and I made lunch.
After that it was so lovely and mild, I weeded the herb border, re-potted an allium schubertii and tidied up a stipa gigantea. We heard a woodpecker which echoed so loudly round the valley everyone stopped to listen.
I've blipped this pulmonaria before and it continues to thrive in the greenhouse but it will be planted out shortly. Love the detail and intense colour in this tiny little flower which is only the size of a baby's fingernail.
