As light as a feather
As I look at the many things that I see day to day, I am struck by the beauty in the design / build of so many things - I have often eluded to this fact a I have photographed and shared an image (and musings!) on this "blip-page".
Another of these wonderful created "things" is this Guinea Fowl Feather.
Clare acquired it sometime back and I have always meant to photograph it - today I finally got round to doing so!
I t was s struggle at first to get the light right and the background too but finally after a few attempts (and some wisdom from my wife), this is the shot that I was happy with.
It is amazing how as the light falls on an object it can look "flat and lifeless" and yet from another angle it can be so vibrant.
So whatever you end up doing today...take some time to allow the light to illuminate something that you may take for granted - see it from another angle that you have not yet admired it from....and be amazed once again of the beauty that surrounds us every day!!
