Lao day 1

It was the first day/ night of our trip to Lao.  managed to tidy the apartment and go to the dentist ( which had the avengers playing while your teeth were cleaned) before our 2pm flight.  I took the mrt to the airport and met Kate at the check in desk.  Kate had brought a rather good salad with her but decided to leave that and have a slightly overpriced, but quite tasty Indian meal at the airport.  We got on our Laos airways flight had some substandard food, landed just over 2hrs later in Vientienne.  After a not to long wait for our visas found our driver and got the mini bus to Vang Vieng (eating our salad enroute).  Got to the stunning location of our hotel and took into our balcony, had a couple of beers and went to sleep.
