Ex-ruin

A couple of years ago I took some photos of an old building on the A65 and posted them to Flickr (here). I'm not sure quite when a building becomes a ruin but this one was clearly on its way. 

Recently, someone has knocked down what was left of the building and started to rebuild and, happily, it looks as though they are going to reuse the stone. I've been thinking for a while about grabbing some photos but the only times I've passed by while it's been light have been times when people were working on-site and that felt a bit intrusive.

I did stop and grab this shot from across the road at the petrol station today, though, as I wanted another 'earth' photo for my 'Elements' project for #artchallenge.
