Chatsworth

After the snow (see Saturday's blip) we had a beautiful day today. A walk around the snowdrops at Hopton Hall provides some lovely shots of the banks of flowers mixed with aconites. The sun only reall came out at lunchtime when we were in the gardens at Chatsworth. The place looked stunning. And that was without seeing the interior as the house itself does not open until March.

A good lunch in the Orangerie then a walk around the grounds with a great variety of views. Then a tour round the lanes and the various villages before a swim.
