Llantysilio Church

This morning the walking group went for a lovely walk near Llangollen. It's a favourite walk that we do twice a year. Now is the best time to see the snowdrop display in the churchyard of Llantisilio Church. It's in a lovely setting, the River Dee flows just behind and the Horseshoe Falls and canal are just a short distance away. Two of our group were married there around 50 years ago.

We do the same walk in the summer as half way round there's a tea shop where we always stop for tea and cakes. Unfortunately it doesn't open in winter as we'd have been glad of a warming cuppa on such a cold day!
