Lovely weather for ducks

A day out in Skipton turned out to be somewhat wetter than expected, but coffee shops provided a welcome refuge from the rain. A short walk brought us to the canal basin where the brightly coloured narrow boats stood out in an otherwise grey scene. The ducks could obviously spot a plastic bag-carrying human at some distance because they all flew in and started swimming towards me as fast as their little legs could paddle. Alas, there was no stale bread for them in the bag and they went away disappointedly.
