That Didn't Last Long

A lovely sky - lasted about 10 minutes.
Then it clouded over.
Shortly after the sleet started.
It has been pretty foul weather wise for the rest of the day.

But this afternoon SWMBO and I headed off (with some lovely rum cake) to have coffee and a chat with friends.

When we left there we decided that neither of us could be bothered cooking - so we phoned The Captain's Mate to find out what time the golf club stopped serving their excellent value roast dinners.
So, we ended up having roast dinner with another 7 people.
And what a pleasant evening it was.
