Today was our last day in London and all of the students wanted to squeeze every last drop out of the experience.

A large group of us headed for Harrods. After encountering some Oyster card problems I stayed behind with a student while the others went ahead. When we eventually got on a tube train it went about 3 stops and stopped. The line was suspended so we went above ground and tried to make sense of the buses. Knowing the rest of the group were waiting for us we went for the quick option of a 10 minute taxi ride. An hour later we arrived at Harrods... The traffic lights had gone out at Trafalgar Square causing all sorts of problems. It gave us a great opportunity for sight seeing from the warm, dry taxi.

Later we got 22 sleepy students on to a train back to Edinburgh.
