Three quarters of our group headed off early this morning for a Harry Potter extravaganza. Myself and four students had a more leisurely breakfast and a walk across Hyde Park to the V&A. It was genuinely lovely to see them so excited about visiting and they could barely believe the number of works on show when we arrived. We left four hours later with heads buzzing with ideas, blinking into the sunshine.
On the way to Tate Modern we fitting in some sightseeing, popping up the underground at Westminster to see Big Ben and Downing Street. We walked past the London Eye and all the way around the river to the Tate.
I must have done something right because they all fell asleep on the bus back to our hostel. (Their batteries had recharged by the time karaoke night started in the bar!)
