Cramond Island

After yesterday's schoolboy error of forgetting the memory card, my act of atonement was to go back today, early. Before the gloom closed in. On the bike.

So at 0813 I set out to do just that. Not the dismal drizzlefest forecast - hell, there was even a fiery sunrise!

No one about; I had the island to myself; the first one spotted yesterday needs work; a tricky one to do. Possibly needs a ciglette or other subject.

Second one worked well. But then - as I'm about to leave as I can see the gathering grey over the first, second and third bridges over the Forth, I find this! The joy!

Black paint on old military bunker wall; block capitals; double underline, three faded stripes. I wonder if I could reshoot this with Pensioner in the shot; somewhere mid stream...?
