It's snowing!

Little Miss Squirrel is hoarding the sunflower seeds I poured onto the snow covered flowerpot, but if she doesn't hurry, they will be totally covered in new-fallen snow before she finishes her lunch.

I captured another picture through the kitchen window that is a little different from my usual back yard buffet blips. I almost made it today's blip, but couldn't resist continuing the squirrel saga. However if you have a minute, please take a look at this. Drawn to the sound of the red-bellied woodpecker, I was happy to find it way up on the shaggy-bark hickory tree. Look closely and you will see green string. It's a mystery to me how a long piece of string got up in that tree. Squirrels maybe? Or a bird building a nest?
