To Finish the Job

Here you see Stuart my gardener in full flight finishing off the log pile.  One more days work should do it!

This timber is already quite old and so I think it will be perfectly all right for burning next winter.  As logs, it will have the summer outside.

I am quite anxious to finish off here as soon as possible.  We occasionally get a pair of pied wagtails who like to build a nest in the wood pile!   I try to leave them undisturbed.
