Teapots re-united.

I use teapots - two or three a day. Last night between emptying the cream one and finishing the washing up, I lost the lid. I looked in several likely places - in the cutlery drawer, in the bin with the tea bags, in the fridge - and then less likely places, in the dogs' bowls, the peg bag, my trouser pockets - no, no lid - so I went to bed. This morning I saw the white one with the roses on, which I had left on the draining board full of detergent water as it was stained. Inside it, of course, was the cream lid - must have slipped in there while I was doing the washing up. 
It's not only the crockery that is a little potty in my house, it seems!
