Keeping Up Appearances

Well Folks ... at least the sun made a wonderful entrance this morning ... There wasn't a cloud in the suns way as it rose above the horizon some 35 minutes after this shot was taken ... :o)

The appearance of the sun, however, was not to last ... By lunchtime a weather front had dragged a layer of cloud across the sky ... and shortly after that, the rain fell ...
 The sun was but a distant memory, as misery spread across the land and the colour of the sky (unlike at sunrise) turned to fifty shades of grey ... (although to be fair, it probably wasn't as awful as the book) ... :o)
