A Broken String of Pearls

Just having you on! You know it's not:-)  I meant to do a proper macro today but the battery was dead on the camera I wanted to use and so I used my SX60.  I actually wanted to capture a waterdrop running from a single hair. That did't work because the water just wouldn't cling to the hair, and so I used olive oil.  That worked a bit better because it clung in beads on the hair, but then it wouldn't run off - it just clung on in there:-(  I'll work on the idea though. I was amazed at how well a single strand of human hair (mine actually) registered


Most of my day has been spent getting my 12-year old Fujifilm Finepix S602 Zoom ready to put on the market. I will be sad to see her go but I need the room.
