road trip (by train)

A travel day.

The train to York for a meeting tomorrow. The arrangements have been subject to a glitch or two, but let's assume that's out of the system now.

I got to the hotel in time for a short walk along the River Ouse to re-gain my bearings. I thought I'd been here once before, but now I think it may have been twice. Not recently, that's for sure.

It had to be a short walk as it was starting to get dark and it was raining a bit. 

I may have to retrace my steps later and check out the inside of the King's Arms. I did have two pints during last night's meeting mind you, so I'd better take care to avoid the slippery slope.
