SCENERY NEAR DRENKE

The pruning shears had broken due to our vigorous pruning. We went in the morning to Beverungen, to Weische, to buy a new one. Actually we bought two, one for Piet Hein and one for me. Can we not fight about who may use it.
From Beverungen we drove on a quiet and beautiful road, slowly meandering,  to Drenke. But before we arrived there, we paused to enjoy the scenery and take photos, walk a small path, breathing the lovely air.
The sun was shining, that feels so wonderful.
We drove from Drenke to Tietelsen and looked around in the village, entered the church, and were silent for a moment.
From Tietelsen we drove to Dalhausen, a familiar place, because when we in the past drove to Holland, we came through this little town on our way to the Autobahn to Dortmund.
In the afternoon we did saw the big branches into smaller pieces, and carried them uphill. Still there are left heaps and heaps of it, but we will take our time and not overdo it right now.
Although my picture was originally coloured of course, I choose to show you a different sight.

My haiku:

As far as the eye
Reaches the fields and the clouds
Tell little stories

And the proverb:

Every commodity has its discommodity.
