Honeymoon in Crete..20 Years on

Day 1
20 years ago on the 2nd of May 1992, Clare and I got married....and for our honeymoon we travelled to Crete - and had a great time.

We decided to travel back there to celebrate our anniversary and with my parents generously looking after our two boys...it was a child free week (happy days) - being able to do on holiday what we wanted to do and not pander to what the kids wanted to do (I do love them really!!)

So after looking through the internet for a suitable place to stay, we found this fab place through Freelance Holidays - it was a villa in a place called Malathiros.

Malathiros is situated in West Crete and is high in the mountains and the views are to die for - the first pic of the week is the view from our bedroom balcony - looking down towards the Bay of Kissamos with Birds of Prey flying above and goats (with their bells on) chewing the grass on the hillside.
