Figs

Visited a neighbour yesterday to get some figs off his trees, he has about four or five which are absolutely laden and was happy for us to help ourselves. It seems to be a bumper crop with good size figs which are just so juicy.

Came home with a basket full but apart from eating them fresh and enjoying them I am not sure what else to do although someone did mention soaking them in something alcoholic!

Decided today to try an give them an old masters looks, so with the help of a few different textures and blend modes came up with this.
