Working out
We have what amounts to a gym in the basement because, after all, Joel is an ardent fan of late night infomercials. We have a total gym and an ab-lounger, sit-up board, free weights and so on. So Jessica and Matt convinced me to get a Fitbit and, you know what??, it pretty much works to incentivize me to come downstairs and take advantage of this equipment! My goal is to walk 8000 steps a day (in winter) and to get stronger. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I shoveled and snowblowed easily for 45 minutes. Pretty good!
