Elegant??!

We have had a great day. We have Portuguese ballet students staying with us this week and they are So lovely, Katie is smitten. The younger of the two is particularly adorable with her. Katie went very hyper and giggly when she first met them this morning- she'd been waiting nearly 4 hours by the time they surfaced at 9!

We took them to dance class and had a quick cuppa with the teachers. Katie and I went to the city and did a few jobs. She said to me "mama I am sooo itchy today and it's ANNOYING". She has a rash up her back and tummy so I am a wee bit concerned, even though she's relatively chipper. But there's a lot going on that she wants to be part of.

I went back to dance class to get the big girls, Katie went off with her teacher/friend for a couple of hours. I took our girls and their teacher shopping and we headed to our principals for tea. We all then reunited at the festival this evening to watch a couple of our seniors. Katie fought so hard to stay awake for Lizzie. As soon as she'd danced, Katie fell asleep in my arms. Ever the ballerina, mouth aside, she looked rather graceful in her seat when I climbed in to wrestle her to bed
