Mono Monday: Bridge

The bridge in the top picture is about a minute from our house. It carries traffic on the A50 over the River Dove, that runs behind our house ( flood defences have been recently been redone, much to our relief! ). On the other side is Nestlés coffee factory, which I am saving to blip another day.

I have no idea how old the fallen bridge is, but the new road was built in 1995 as the Hilton, Hatton and Foston bypass at a cost of £19 or £30.4 million for a 6 mile stretch depending on which Wikipedia page you read!
