Peacock

I have been playing around with long exposure shots using a torch to light the subject again....this is a Peacock ornament we have in our hall...it stands about a metre high.  My husband thinks I'm losing it...turning all the lights out and then taking a photo whilst waving a torch around!
I have processed this one a bit using Perfect Effects 8, adding a border and some texture.
I was due to see my friend this afternoon but sadly she's back in hospital but she should be back home tomorrow...she just wants to meet up again to say goodbye...she's amazingly brave....I thought of her when I took this photo...a woman of many colours....vibrance..splendour....
