Mini Bunting

For Christmas, my lovely friend Ann made me some knitted bunting, which hangs in my kitchen window. It is one of the most hilarious and sweet presents I've ever had and must have taken her a huge amount of time.

Ann will be celebrating a big birthday soon and I decided to crochet her some mini-bunting as a nod to my lovely Christmas gift.

I had to fiddle around with it to work out how it would look best, and I think I've got it right now. I think I'll need to make 40 flags, of which I've done ten.

Betsy was at a school cricket tournament today. She was thrilled to come back with a medal, the girls school team came second. Apparently she got one six, two fours and three wickets. I don't know what that means, I'm quoting from memory and may have got that quite wrong. I do know she was exhausted, happy and very grubby.

Chris and the children have been playing frisbee in the garden and if course it went over to Judy's next door. She is a very accomplished gardener and I hope it hasn't sliced the heads off some rare flower she's been cultivating.
