Whose idea was this?

Spent the day pottering around Rothbury. Andrew and I went for a walk along the river in the morning, and came back with sausages, bacon and egg for lunch.
We then decided that we needed another walk, this time with Iain. As it was late afternoon and there wasn't much daylight left, we didn't want to go too far afield. I consulted the maps and found a circular route through the woods just up from the cottage, so off we went. After a fairly steep and narrow public right of way, we came to a much wider forestry track and followed it instead of following the map, as it seemed to be heading in the right direction. It was very muddy and deeply rutted, and came to an end at a new plantation of trees. There was a tiny stream at the bottom of a fairly steep cut, but we could see houses nearby and my phone app told me we were close to the path we should have been on, so we decided to scramble across. Bella led the way, with me in second place. If a middle aged Mum can do it, so can a teenage boy! Iain did try crossing via the log but changed his mind as it wasn't very steady and the drop was around 2 metres. The perspective in the picture doesn't really do it justice.
