Eucalyptus Brilliance!

The Red Flowering Gum (Eucalyptus Ficifolia) at our farm at Karridale south of Margaret River has just started to bloom.

Surely something as stunning as these blooms deserve a more exotic name than Red Flowering Gum. Maybe cerise or russet or crimson or ruby or coral, because it comes in all shades of red. Could it be the same nomenclature bloke who named the beautiful Common Brown Butterfly also named this tree?

I think it is a stunning display of blooms.
