Repairs - Mark 2

Just to prove that I am making the first step in repairing the aforementioned chairs (see yesterdays blip). have reassembled the back of this chair - sanded down the spindles and applied copious amounts of Gorilla Glue (as per instructions). I wasn't sure how best to hold the whole thing together until the glue sets so have created a sort of tourniquet using some 4mm polypropylene rope (which stretches I discover) and a couple of screwdrivers. Hope it works! 

The legs also need attention, but, 1 step at a time I think. Assuming success on the stability front (but that is next weekend at the earliest) then my plan is to apply some liming wax and polish. Watch this space!
