A sea of shopping carts

This was the scene early afternoon at our local Costco - shoppers were really sparse for some reason.
Might be the weather :  The winds strengthened from yesterday and blew a hoolie all morning, still from the unusual westerly direction.  Rain (sometimes horizontal), strong winds tumbling things around.  Closed almost all our windows and went back to bed, getting up about 1 PM.
Or could be :  the start of a 3-day weekend (Presidents' Day on Monday).
Or could be :  Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

A really off-kilter kind of day . . . .
