View from the villa

The villa is this nice structure with lush greenery in the front yard in the midst of a fairly poor looking neighborhood. Granted, most have these high fences, so i have not seen up close what the other places all look like...but those with open gates I have glimpsed at fairly deserted lots and shacks. It strikes me as so odd and incongruous to have these things right next to each other. The street in front is dirt and there is no garbage pickup. Regular garbage burning seems to be the norm by many and the stray goats, chickens, dogs and cats seem to enjoy picking through what scraps they can find.
