Katie arrived home from nursery with a swollen eye yesterday. Whilst it was immediately brought to my attention, apparently some of the staff had tried to pass it off as hayfever at first, because she has a runny nose. But it got more swollen and bruised as the afternoon progressed, and very clearly is a bruised black eye, not hayfever. They were in a difficult situation as Katie hadnt cried out - they said she hadnt cried at any point of the day. Then she wouldnt tell them what had happened. Later she said to Grandad and then to me that it was the table and Jacob. This morning, there is a very definite line bruise across her ete, so it seems very likely it was a table. It makes me very sad, poor little poppet.

She was very excited this morning as I discovered on youtube a video of the same Disney Princess tour that we saw in April, so she watched that as I got ready.

Nursery today. When I pick her up on the bike, she often asks to go for a decaff, so we likely will stop at Costa for a babyccino. She then tends to ask to go to the shopping, for a packet of little crackers before we head home - my creature of habit.
