beautiful surprise on a grey day

Recovering from my stomach bug, I went for a walk this morning. It was freezing cold and foggy. Then I discovered this beautifully frozen flower from last year. Even after its time, it still can be touched and be beautiful. I hope that I - should I be granted a long life - that I will make best of circumstances and shine in my winter.
