What I miss is being a kid, getting on a routemaster, dodging the 10p fare and then spending the journey hanging off the pole at the open entrance and feeling the wind in my hair. This was before anyone thought of health and safety and thank god they did, because if I saw my kid hanging off a pole like that I'd have a heart attack. AND he'd be grounded for dodging the fare.
